Chateau de Talmont St Hilaire

This was once an old port nestled below impressing remains of a medieval castle that belonged to the powerful Pries of Talmont. Richard the Lionheart spent a great deal of time hunting in the surrounding forests and was responsible for the construction of the chateau.

Sadly, we are not able to accept animals in our bedrooms.

Cotages

A Holiday tax, at a daily of 0,72€ per person, will be added to these rates from the age of 13, which is applicable from 1 May to 30 September.

• La Bourrine sleeps 4 (+ 2 on convertible)
• La Longère sleeps 7 (+ 2 on convertible)

A supplement of 50€ per week will apply per additional person

60€ supplement will be added to the cost of the rental for heating between 30 September and 1 May, depending on weather conditions.

All bedding and bath towels are provided and you will find your beds made for your arrival.

All cleaning agents are provided for washing machine, dishwasher and for the general upkeep of the gîte.

The gîte is to be left in the same state of cleanliness on departure, as it was on arrival. However, we do provide a cleaning service, if you wish to take that option the cost are as listed below.

• La Bourrine : 90€
• La Longère : 110€

Table Guest

Evening meals ‘TABLE D’HÔTE’ are available: at 32€ per person and 15€ for children under the age of 12. Meals are shared with other guests around our table in the dining room by the fire place, or outside (depending on the season). Fresh local produce is used in the preparation of all our meals! Consisting of: starter, main course, cheese, desert, wine and coffee, all inclusive)
