Property rental near GOLF course in the Vendée

For the golfing enthusiast, there are several courses close to Domaine du Revêtison’s cottages and bed and breakfast rooms just outside of Chantonnay. The closest is La Domangère, just south of La Roche sur Yon, and 20 minutes drive from Domaine du Revêtison; a testing 18 hole, par 72 parkland course that has a variety of hills and lakes to interest all levels of Golfers. The new club house boasts a very good pro-shop where clubs can be hired, if required as well as a newly refurbished and very good restaurant and 19th hole. other facilities include a driving range and practice green. For those golfers who prefer a links type course, St Jean-de-Monts is one of the best in West France with the front nine winding through the natural pine forest and the back nine close to the beach; an excellent test for technical golfers; (St Jean-de-Monts is about an hour’s drive from Domaine du Revêtison)

Evening Meal or Table d'hôte

This is the ideal opportunity for you to sample the Vendée cuisine.  All dishes are prepared with fresh produce of the region.  

Table d’hôte means sharing a meal prepared by the host, that is Corinne, with other guests around our table that you will find is a very sociable experience!  An evening where laughter rules, wine flows and a great time is had by all!

Breakfast and Evening meal

In the summer, weather permitting (if it isn't too hot), we like to serve breakfast outside to get you started for the day. 

To immerse yourself in the history of a region / country, is to discover its architecture, its landscape, its people and their way of life but also through their cuisine.  Corinne Wilson will help you discover the typical dishes of the Vendée at her Table d'hôte (evening meal).  The evening is spent around the table in a good ambiance where people get to know each other and talk about their different discoveries of the day as well as sharing a good meal.

Eating at Domaine du Revêtison

In the dinning room, furnished the Vendée style, you will be able to appreciate some of the local gastronomy, such as Vendéen mogette, préfou, smoked ham etc.

A friendly meal to be shared with other guests around our table where topics of conversations are diverse, laughter is paramount and a fantastic evening is spent by all enjoying and discovering the local dishes prepared with fresh local produce.

Picnic basket

If you do not wish to be restricted by restaurants opening hours and are fed up with ‘fast foods’; for just 10€ per person, we prepare a sumptuous picnic basket for you to enjoy at your leisure whilst exploring this magnificent region of France!  If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity, please give us a minimum of 24hrs notice.
