Aquarium of La Rochelle

La Rochelle’s Aquarium provides an incredible experience. You can look forward to a good viewing of thousands of sea creatures, from the frail seahorses to the large sharks. You enter through a glass tunnel entirely surrounded by tiny, translucent jelly fish swimming gracefully in all directions. Due to the different lighting effects the tour is magical!

Additional information

From the motorway A83, come off at exit 6. At the roundabout, follow the sign to Chantonnay. After the village of L’Angle, at cross roads, turn left onto the D52, sign posted St Hilaire le Vouhis. Over the level crossing and first right, 200 metres and you are at the Domaine du Revêtison.

If you are on the N137 of the Nantes > La Rochelle road, come off at Chantonnay and follow the directions towards La Roche sur Yon. On the D949bis, approximately 2.5kms, turn right at the cross roads onto the D52 sign posted St Hilaire le Vouhis. Over the level crossing and first right, 200 metres and you are at the Domaine du Revêtison.
